Kansas Rectangle Buckle with Keeper

This is a rectangular belt buckle with KANSAS in raised letters. The buckle with keeper measures 3 5/16" wide and 1 1/4" tall. The buckle is made in the fashion of a Civil War period officers shoulder strap. The border is raised and the background is stippled. The raised block lettering is 9/16" in height. The opening in the buckle and keeper for the belt are 1" wide. There is no makers mark or any identifying stamps on the buckle or keeper.
