Early 1900's US Military Motif Desk Decoration

This is small plate stamped with a military motif to be used as a desk decoration from the early 1900's. The rectangular plate measures 3 1/4" wide and 5" high. Embossed on the front is a military stand of arms with a patriotic ribbon at the top and laurel branches at the side. A saber bayonet is in the center of the arms. I'm sure this was designed as a desk decoration as there are no means on the reverse to hang it on a wall. This would make a cool little piece to put with your young collectors items!
