Early 1900's Texas A.M.C. Cuff Size Button

This is a non excavated Texas A.M.C. cuff size button from the early 1900's. The button is of a two piece design, is back marked PETTIBONE BROS MF'G CO. CIN and measures 15 mm. This button did not have a gilt finish, instead it had a subdued black finish applied. The finish is missing from the raised lettering and the five point star in the center of the face, but remains in the recessed areas. The shank is still reporting for duty and is standing straight and tall. This is a nice piece to add to your button collection.
