This is a summary of application for admittance into Auxiliary #6 of the William H. Erwin Post in the Department of Kansas. The summary covers the periods of 13 June, 1934 through 24 May, 1943. It is made up of three columns, applicants name, date presented and date mustered into the Auxiliary. During this period Auxiliary No. 6 lists 47 who applied for admittance and all 47 were mustered into the Auxiliary. These organizations were a very popular and patriotic way to show the women's support to the armed services, beginning with the Ladies of the GAR and continuing on through the Spanish American War period. The report is in very good condition, the only flaw are the creases where it has been folded in an envelope for decades.
