Unknown Leather Waist Belt with Integral Frog

This is a non regulation waist belt with an integral bayonet or sword frog from an unknown period. The belt length is 44" in length and is 1 7/8" wide. The leather shows honest wear but is still very supple. There are no cracks, rips, tears or weak spots anywhere on the belt. There are no makers stamps or inspector's stamps visible on the belt. The frog is sewn onto the left side of the belt and looks like it would accept a bayonet scabbard or a narrow blade sword scabbard. A small black roller buckle is sewn on one end of the belt, but there is no leather piece to attach it to on the other end. I'm not sure where this on fits in.
