This is a framed Texas state parade flag from the 30th National United Confederate Veterans reunion. The reunion was held 6 - 8 October, 1920 in Houston, Texas. The flag has very little staining, located in the upper right hand corner. The star is printed on the flag, nothing is sewn on. The flag was made using block printing on the cotton material. These flags were used along the parade routes to be waved as the thinning ranks of the Confederate veterans passed by. The flag itself measures 26 3/4" wide and 16 3/4" high. The teal blue wooden frame displays well with the flag. It measures 33 1/4" wide by 23 1/4" high. A simple light gray woven mat really makes the flag stand out. Framed and ready to hang, this will really put a splash of color in your war room! This piece will require special shipping considerations.
