Beneath is a red circle with the letters UMC in white, with the words Trade Mark to the left and right of the circle. In the center of the cap is CENTRAL FIRE Ground Edge Foil Lined, and at the bottom if the lid is PERCUSSION CAPS. The body of the tin is jappened black and has a slight bend in the lip.
