This is a partial set of reproduction Revolutionary War period buttons worn by different units of the Continental Army. The set originally had ten buttons that came in a cardboard display case. The original set consisted of a Continental Artillery button, a 2nd Connecticut button, a Green Mountain Rangers button, a 2nd Maryland button, a Virginia Dragoons button, a 6th Massachusetts button, a Delaware Blues button, a 1st Pennsylvania button, a Continental Marines button and a General Services button. The 2nd Connecticut, 2nd Maryland and Delaware Blues buttons are missing. The display box remains in good condition, with the only flaw being a small slit in the clear cellophane viewing panel. The red background for the buttons is faded on the right side, apparently a victim of to much sun. All the buttons that remain are in very good condition. This selection was buttons from the American Revolution was manufactured by Roerig. This would make a nice birthday of Christmas gift for the young collector in the family.
