This is four books, Volumes 1 - 4, of a 40 volume set of the Confederate Veteran magazine reprinted in 1980 by the National Historical Society of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Each volume represents an entire year of the magazine publication, from 1893 through 1932. The original magazine was published monthly in Nashville, Tennessee. Each hardback volume contains all twelve editions of a particular year. All four volumes are filled with human interest stories, eye witness accounts of different battles, black and white photos and illustrations of the Confederate men and women who made up the Confederacy and the Confederate Army. These books will make excellent reference books for the Civil War collector or enthusiast. This hard back book is in very good condition, and never had a dust jacket.
