This is a vintage Boy Scout multi tool called the "Hobo". These things were very popular during the 1960's and 1970's, I got one for Christmas one year! The pocket knife features a folding spoon and fork on either side of the knife. It also includes a large and small knife blade, scissors, saw blade, a bottle and can opener blade, cork screw, double sided file blade, an awl and a screwdriver blade. One end of the knife has a large carrying loop that could be attached to a lanyard. The handles are made of brown bakelite. All components open and close easily and function properly. The main knife blade is stamped Japan, no doubt where it was made. Light surface rust is on the tops of the components that will easily clean up. This can still be used today for your young outdoor adventurer! But take it from me, you ain't cutting down no 30 foot tree with that little saw blade!
