1890's - 1900's Brass & Copper United States Navy 9 Quart Coffee Pot

This is a copper and brass coffee pot from the 1890's to early 1900's period. This two handled coffee pot is constructed of copper over tin. It measures 13" tall and is 10" in diameter at the base. All seams are lead soldered, with the bottom handle and pour spout being attached with copper rivets. The lid is secured by a chain. The carrying bail has a turned wood grip in the center. This one is in excellent condition, no dents and a mostly chocolate brown patina. If you have a Spanish American War Naval collection you oughta check this one out!
