This is the last spur in the collection we recently received in the style of those used in the Southwestern United States during the 1800's. This iron spur is the heaviest of the lot, weighing right at four pounds. The heel band measures 3" across the opening, is 1 3/8" wide and approximately 3/8" thick. The neck measures 1 1/2" in length, 1" in width and is in the shape of the number 8. The 8 point rowel rotates freely and has tines that measure 3/4" in length. The leather strap is missing from this one. Both of the buttons to attach the strap are missing. The outside of the heel strap and neck have been engraved. Another great looking piece of South Western decor for your home or office.
