Antique Tin Spice Cabinet

This is an antique spice tin from the 1800's. The little tin cabinet measures 11 1/4" tall, 9" wide and 3 1/2" deep. It has eight drawers, each marked for an individual spice. The spices marked are CLOVES, CINNAMON, VANILLA, NUTMEG, ALLSPICE, SAFFRON, PEPPER, GINGER. The drawer are 2 3/4" wide, 2 3/4" long and 1 3/16" deep. There are a couple of dents along the top and bottom edges. The top, sides and front of the cabinet have a gold tint applied, while the back side is jappened black. The lettering on the drawers is very legible except for the pepper. That one is a little hard to read. This would make a good display item for a camp scene or a kitchen display.
