1800's Beret

1800's beret, possibly Civil War Naval used. This one has no no makers label. It came into the shop with no documentation or oral history. It measures 11" from front to rear and 10" from side to side. The wool material has a little moth damage. Even though it is quite dirty you can still see the dark blue color of the wool. The lining is in good condition, just a little fraying along the edge. The flash is not in good condition, being frayed and torn. Could be quite the treasure for a small price!
