Reproduction German M42 helmet depicted in winter camoflauge pattern. This is a quality reproduction piece that also came from a recent show in Louisville, Ky. The addition of the wire, along with the paint scheme make this one really stand out! Stampings on the inner rim of the helmet are exactly like the originals. This one is stamped ET68 on the left side and in the rear 2407. The ET represents the Eisenhuttenwerke plant, Thale Germany. The number 68 is the shell size. The number 2407 is the production number of that particular lot. The helmet has a reproduction M31 helmet liner. The helmet has a single late production SS decal on the right side. Another quality piece for your war room that won't cost you a fortune! But it is a REPRODUCTION, not an original WWII helmet.
