German Condor Legion Buckle

Brass belt buckle attributed to the German Condor Legion. These troops supported the Nationalist under General Franco in the Spanish Civil War from July 1936 thru March 1939. The buckle is made of brass and measures 2 1/2" tall and 2 1/4" wide. It has several bends, possibly ran over by a vehicle? The brass has an aging patina, with some scratches on the front. There is considerable wear on the high points stamped into the front of the buckle. This one obviously was there and well worn!
