1800's Brass and Copper Lamp

This is a brass and copper lamp from the 1800's. The base is made of sheet brass, the lamp reservoir is made of copper. I have not been able to find an example of this particular type as yet. I believe it to be a nautical lamp. It measures 10" tall and 7 1/2" across the bottom of the base. The copper reservoir is 5" tall and contains a fill cap and an opening for a wick. The contrast in colors makes this one very pleasing to the eye. Unfortunately the wick is missing. There are no maker marks to be found on this thing.
