Nice set of Model 1859 brass spurs. These have the cast in groove at the heel. We have quite a few spurs in the shop but this is the only pair with smooth rowels. I do not know if these are replacement rowels, but they have been on the spurs for quite some time. They rotate freely and have just a touch of surface rust showing. the brass has turned a nice light chocolate brown patina. Matched spurs are getting hard to find, and these two have been together for a long ride! Nice set for the price.
