Bacon 1st Model Revolver

1st Model Bacon 31 caliber 5 shot pocket revolver. The four inch round barrel, plain cylinder and cylinder release pin on the left side are indicative of Bacon Arms Co first model. Total production for this model is about 1,000 according to the 8th edition of Flayderman's guide to firearms, page 305. The gun has an overall matching patina with very visible engraving on the frame and back strap. The grips show honest wear but remain in good condition. The only stamping is the serial number, 437, found on the loading lever. Good example of a low production spur trigger pocket revolver that will make your antique pistol collection complete.
