WWII USMC Female Uniform Button

This is a single, green plastic button used on female USMC uniforms during WWII. The button measures 15mm, has a metal shank and still retains the metal ring used to secure the button to the uniform. The button face has a spread winged eagle perched on a fouled anchor, a section of the anchor line in it's beak. There are thirteen stars in an arc at the top of the button, all on a lined field. These buttons were used on the WWII female Marine's summer service uniform. The button remains in very good condition. There is no back mark on it.
