This is the title page from the Memorial Address book written by James G. Blaine for the Memorial service of President James A. Garfield. The memorial service written by Blaine was printed in book form by the Bureau of Engraving & Printing and published in 1882 as a first volume. The title page features President Garfield centered on the page within a circular frame. To the left and right of Garfield are American flags draped with black mourning crape. It comes double matted in a simple but attractive wooden frame. The frame measures 13 1/4" wide and 11 1/4" high. The image itself measures 8 3/4" wide and 6 1/2" high. It displays well on it's own, but would really go great with a copy of the Memorial Address book. We just happen to have one, AA3298!
