This is a mixed lot of WWI buttons from the US. There are 11 coat sized buttons from the Kemper Military School and 4 coat sized US 1902 Great Seal buttons worn by the military during World War I. The KMS buttons are a mix of PETTIBONE BROS. and BUTTON Co. back marks. All the coat size buttons are subdued. There are a couple of cuff size Great Seal buttons in the lot as well. The Kemper Military School was founded in 1844 in Boonville, Missouri. The school survived the Civil War, Spanish American War and all the way through Vietnam, but filed for bankruptcy and closed in 2002. For those of that collect military school items, these should fit right in.
