This is a miniature Sons of Confederate Veterans medal for war time service in the military. This award is meant to honor individuals of Confederate decent that have served in one of the country's military branches during time of war. Men or women who have served at least 90 days during war time periods defined in DOD directives and American Legion guidelines are eligible. There is no limit to the number of conflict bars that may be worn on the ribbon. This medal is in very good, unused condition. It would make a very nice addition to any reenactors dress uniform.
