This is a reprint of an engraved portrait of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. The original engraved portrait that was made from an ambrotype made by Mathew Brady in 1865. The oval portrait of Lee is set within a medallion style faux engraved border. Below the image of Lee is a vignette titled "After Gettysburg". Beneath the vignette is the faux signature of R E Lee. The image of General Lee and the vignette has been colorized. The print comes in a nice wooden frame that measures 12 1/4" wide and 15 1/2' high. The viewable image itself measures 7" wide and 9 1/4" high. This is a nice, clean image with double matt in an attractive frame that will look great in your office or war room!
