This is a Nazi Germany medal for the occupations of The Sudetenland in 1938 or Czechoslovakia in 1939. This medal was established on 18 October, 1938 and was awarded to military personnel as well as government officials. The medal was designed by Professor Richard Klein. It is die struck, high in detail and has a bronze finish. The ribbon it is suspended from represents the colors of the Sudetenland, black red and black with two white outer stripes. This medal was last awarded on 31 December, 1940, with a total of 1,162,617 being awarded. This one is in good condition, and will display well with your early Nazi collection.
