Brass .40 Caliber "Picket" Rifle Bullet Mold

This is a brass .40 caliber bullet mold for a "picket" or country rifle. The "picket" rifle was first introduced in the 1850's, and were one of the first target rifles to fired conical rounds. The brass mold measures 3 3/4" in length. It is capable of making one conical bullet per cast. The mold is not stamped or marked in any way. The scissors type mold operates perfectly and will display great with a percussion picket rifle and accoutrements!
