20th Annual Reunion Ribbon Department of Oklahoma GAR Annual Encampment

This is a Department of Oklahoma Grand Army of the Republic reunion ribbon from the 20th annual state encampment held in Alva, Oklahoma on 17-20 May, 1910. The ribbon is white with black lettering. It reads "20th ANNUAL/OKLAHOMA/STATE EN-/CAMPMENT/G. A. R." above a rendering of a building with the title Southwestern State Normal School. Printed below the building is "Alva, Okla./May 17--20/1910. The header is missing from the ribbon, but the ribbon itself still displays well. The ribbon shows a couple spots of discoloration, one small area of insect damage in the bottom right corner and a split about two thirds across just below the name of the building. This will go well with your other Oklahoma GAR items.
