This is a set of three United Spanish American War Veteran lapel pins from the early 1900's. These pins are in good condition and undamaged. These appear to be jeweler made and are a higher quality than the button set listed on the website. I believe the smaller one could be a tie tack The pin has a circular center that has been overlaid on a cross. On each arm of the cross are the areas where the United Spanish War Veterans fought, Cuba, Porto Rico/China and the Philippine Islands, with U.S.A. at the bottom. The smallest pin has an insignia representing the different branches that were involved in those campaigns. At the top is the crossed sabers of the Cavalry, right side the crossed rifles of the Infantry, bottom a fouled anchor of the Navy and left side crossed cannons of the Artillery. In the center of the cross is a circle, within the circle are three individuals and a ship in the background. Around the rim of the circle it reads "SPANISH WAR VETERANS 1898 - 1902". The pins do not have a back mark. This will add a little touch of color to your Spanish American War collection!
