This is a pinback for the Department of Kansas GAR annual encampment held in Wichita, Kansas in 1912. The encampment was held in Wichita in conjunction with the unveiling of the Memorial to the Sedgewick County Civil War Soldier and Sailor veterans. The red, white and blue pinback has the Grand Army of the Republic badge in red, with the letters G A R and WICHITA 1912 in blue on a white background. This pinback shows some age, but still displays well. It is unfortunately missing the pin. This one will look good along with your other Kansas GAR collectibles.
