US Model 1892 Regulation Bugle

This is a Model 1892 Bugle made of brass measuring 17 1/4" long. The horn measures 4 1/2" across. It is stamped US Regulation/MADE IN JAPAN just in front of the horn, with the US letters upside down. The mouth piece is still with this one. I'm not sure when this one was made. It has seen some use, but is in very good condition with just a couple of small dents in the horn. The brass has taken on a beautiful mellow golden patina. I'm not sure, but I believe this one was made by the Japanese after WWII for the civilian market.
