This is an assortment of US military insignia from the World War I period and later periods. There are 16 cuff and pocket sized gold USMC buttons from the post WWI era, and four green plastic cuff sized USMC buttons that I'm not sure when they were used. All 20 buttons have shanks, the dress buttons have Waterbury back marks. There is 1 coat size 1902 button that looks to have been dug. There are 2 cap devices, an Engineer branch and an Infantry branch, both with a screw on post. There are 8 US collar disc from the WWI period, all look to have been dug. There are 3 infantry collar disc, all with company letters, 1 Quartermaster collar disc and 1 Artillery collar disc with the number 11. Most of these disc look to be dug, and most are missing the screw back post. There is 1 Infantry branch collar disc from the 1920's - 1930's period and 1 clutch back Air Defense Artillery collar disc from the Cold War era. There are 2 US collar disc from the post WWI period, one from the 1920's 1930's and the other from the Cold War period. There is a WWI medal presented by the city of Salina, Kansas to it's veterans that is unnamed in very good condition. There is a WWII period Good Conduct Medal ribbon in the box. To round things out there are 3 pencil sharpeners and a small souvenir shoe from Japan in the box. I believe 2 of the pencil sharpeners are from India. It's quite a mixed bag of items, maybe the start of a young mans collection!
