This is a journal of the 39th annual encampment of the Grand Army of the Republic's Department of Kansas. The 39th annual encampment of the Department of Kansas was held May 19-21, 1920 in Hutchinson, Kansas. This small leather bound journal measures 6 1/4" wide and 9 1/4" tall. It is 117 pages and contains black and white photographs of different department heads, minutes of the encampment, appointment of new officers and all other activities conducted during the three day encampment. The journal is in excellent condition, the covers are in near mint condition and the pages from front to back have no issues. This is the perfect thing for the Kansas GAR collector.
