This is a pewter figurine of Wyatt Earp done by Jim Ponter for the Franklin Mint in 1985. The fine pewter figure stands 9" tall, and depicts Earp with a drawn highly engraved Smith & Wesson Schofield revolver. The scene depicts what could be the famous "Shoot Out a the OK Corral", with a bullet riddled fence post, broken wagon wheel and horse on the ground. The figure of Earp is very detailed and extremely well done. He is wearing a typical western hat, overcoat with vest, undershirt and tie, pants and boots. You can make out a holster on his right leg, but that's about it for a gun belt. This figurine was offered by the Franklin Mint in 1985 with a limited edition of only 4500 being produced. If you have a Old West collection this will really look great in it.
