Ludwig Professional Competition Bugle

This is a Ludwig Professional competition bugle, very similar to the Model 1892 bugle. It is made of brass and measures 21 3/4" long. The horn measures 5 1/2" across. The mouth piece is still with this one, and is marked CONN TROMBONE. This one dates to between 1920 and 1930. It has seen plenty of use judging by the number dents found on it! The horn itself has a couple of dents, but nothing major. Stamped just above the bell is LUDWIG/PROFESSIONAL. The brass has taken on a light chocolate brown patina. This one could have been used in World War II.
