Flap Holster for a Colt Model 1849 Colt Pocket or Similar Revolver

This is a flap holster for the Colt 1849 pocket or similar revolver with a 4" barrel. The leather is still soft and supple, but has a small tear in the leather on the back side of the flap and a hole on the back side of the body near the belt loop. The original stitching is still strong and unbroken. The flap does not have closure strap, but two slits that close over a button type finial. The finial missing from the holster. There is no plug in the toe of the holster and doesn't look like there ever was. The belt loop on the back is securely sewn onto the body of the holster. There are no cartouche or makers mark visible. The leather is crazed, but has very little finish loss. This little flap holster has seen it's fair share of service, but it still displays well. It would compliment any collection!
