Aqua Soda Bottle Dated 1862

This is an aqua soda bottle manufactured during the Civil War period. It measures 7 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" across the bottom. The blob top bottle has raised lettering that reads " JOHN HECHT BROOKLYN NY 1862". Hecht was a soda water manufacturer during the Civil War. His business was located at 10 Yates Place in Brooklyn, New York. The bottle is in very good condition, having no chips, cracks or scratches. It will make a nice addition to any glass or bottle collection.
