Pre Civil War Flower Button 1830's

This is a non excavated two piece coat size flower buttons from the 1830's. The button is back marked KENDRICK & CO/EXTRA. The button is in very good condition. It has a very ornate floral design, with one design within another. The button measures 21 mm and retains over 90% of the gilt. The shank is present and standing tall. The Kendrick button company can be traced back to the 1830's in Waterbury, Connecticut. This button will make a great start for any collection.
