Excavated .69 Caliber Ball Recovered at Petersburg, Va

This is a .69 caliber ball recovered on private property in Petersburg, Virginia, near the site of the Battle of Fort Stedman, that took place 25 March, 1865. The bullet is in dropped condition, and the lead has turned white from being in the ground over 150 years! This is a nice, inexpensive little piece that could be the start of a young Civil War buffs collection! This relic comes in a clear plastic display case with removable top.
