Vintage Ice Skates Made in Holland

This is a pair of vintage ice skates made in Friesland, Holland circa 1940. The skates are made of wood, with metal runners and leather straps. They measure 12 1/2" in length and 1 3/4" wide at the widest point. The blades are stamped "IJSNOCHT" and "ERIESESCHAATS". The heel strap for one of the skates is missing. These skates are in overall good condition, and would make a nice decorator piece for your ski chalet!
