This is a .58 caliber three ring bullet recovered on private property in Warren County, Mississippi, near the site of the Battle of Chickasaw Bayou, that took place 26-29 December, 1862. The bullet is in dropped condition, and shows evidence of having been pulled from the barrel with a worm. The lead has turned white from being in the ground over 150 years! This is a nice, inexpensive little piece that could be the start of a young Civil War buffs collection! This relic comes in a clear plastic display case with removable top.
