There are two proof marks on the barrel, both on the right side barrel flat. A capital R with a crown over it and a capital M with a 5 point star over it are clearly stamped on the right barrel flat. The same capital M with the star over it is also stamped on the right side of the frame. The bore is free of pitting and still somewhat bright, just starting to darken with age. The rifling is worn, but still visibile. The left side of the frame is stamped with the letters LAM. The folding trigger i stamped in to different places with the number 63. The cylinder is stamped on the outer rim with the capital M under a star and the ELG within an oval under a crown. The mechanics of this revolver work perfectly. checkered walnut grips fit like a glove and are flawless. The loading gate is present and latches in the closed position. The brown leather coin purse is in very good condition, but is missing one hinge pin on the top. The small revolver fits in it perfectly, you can tell they been together forever. This pinfire revolver displays great and will add some real eye appeal to any revolver display!
