.41 Caliber Short Rimfire Cartridge

This is a .41 caliber short rimfire cartridge from the post Civil War era. The copper cased cartridge does not have a head stamp. The case length is .469" with a projectile diameter of .399", with an overall length of .932". The projectile, a round nose, has an aged, light gray patina to it. The copper case has a beautiful bronze patina. There aren't a whole lot of these rimfire cartridges floating around out there. If you have an ammunition collection, this one needs to be in it!
