This is a ceramic bust of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. It stands 6 1/4" tall and is atop an integral base that measures 2 3/4" by 2 3/4". The bust depicts Lee in the late war years. Although Lee was the commander of the Army of Northern Virginia, he never wore the stars of a Confederate general. Instead, he continued to wear the three stars of a Colonel, his highest rank attained after serving 32 years in the United State Army. The bust is signed by Hucks on the back. If you have a Confederate collection it's not complete without something from the most famous Civil War General of them all!
