This is a US Government issue 7 round magazine for the M1911A1 pistol. The magazine retains about 95% of the original bluing. The spring is strong and feeds the rounds without any threat of jamming. The floor plate of the magazine is not stamped, nor is the top side of the toe of the floor plate. This indicates the magazine was manufactured by Colt and is not a contracted magazine. This is a great piece for the World War II reenactor or 1911A1 Colt man in your family.
