This is a two piece New York Light Guard button from the Civil War period. The back mark on the button reads ROBINSON/EXTRA. The two piece button is in very good condition. The majority of the gilt remains and has a beautiful golden luster. There is no damage to the button, the shank is still standing straight. This is a nice piece for your New York button collection!
