Civil War Spur

Picked this spur up on my Texas trip. The spur was in an old out building and had a deep moldy patina. I gently wiped it off with a wool cloth and oil. The rowel is the best part of this spur with the silver coin and the 1861 date. The inside of the spur shows a cool casting flaw and similar to the "Richmond" style spurs. Very cool item and one you will enjoy.
