This is a Sterling Silver faux cigarette case hip flask by James Dixon & Sons, Ltd. of Sheffield, England. The company used this hallmark beginning in the 1920's. The flask measure 3 3/4" tall and 3 1/4" wide and holds a pint of your drink of choice. The sterling silver is tarnished, but just needs a good polishing to bring it back to it's bright old self. The case is marked on the top with the initials of EHS in the center. The cap in located in the bottom left corner. When removed it reveals the stamps of Dixon and Made In England, along with the numbers 49 and 65. The cap also has the number 49 stamped in it. The little cork piece is still in the cap!
