Early 1900's New York State Seal Button

This is a two piece New York State seal button from the early 1900's period. There is no back mark on the button. The two piece domed button is in very good condition. The majority of the gilt remains, but has taken on a dull gold patina. This button was not made with a shank, as this type button was retained by a small clip. This is a nice piece for your New York State Guard/Militia uniform that's missing a button!
