This is a US WWII web sling for the M1 Garand rifle. The sling has a total length of 42" and is 1 1/4" wide. This sling is in issued condition, but is in good condition. There are two ink stamps, but I can not make them out. It appears to be a late WWII period sling. The buckles and ends still retain the majority of the original blackening. These things are getting hard to come by in this condition. This one does not have the MRT stamp, which stood for Mildew Resistant Treatment, indicating a post WWII/Korea period. This one will certainly dress up you Springfield or Winchester!
