This is a relic condition spur that was picked up near Mesa, Arizona. It is made in the Spanish style used in the southwestern United States during the 1800's. Most of these style spurs are iron, but this one is made of brass. This spur weighs almost three pounds. The spur measures 2 1/4" across the opening, is 1" wide and approximately 1/16" thick. The neck measures 2" in length, 1/2" in width and is in a figure 8 pattern. The rowel and pin are missing. Another great looking piece of South Western decor for your home or office.
